  Technical

plongee tec, plongee technique, technical diving, trimix, decompression“Technical”, or “Advanced”, dive training includes various steps aimed at expanding the evolutionary potential of divers through adopting procedures and a mastery of specific hardware configurations in order to strongly maintain all safety factors.

Often this involves a review of basic diving techniques: consolidating the fundamentals allows building strong techniques while increasing the complexity of dives!

The courses can be done with a backmount configuration (double tanks) or with a Sidemount configuration. If you do not have prior Sidemount training, allow for a supplemental two days to complete the Basic Sidemount course prior to additional training!

  Sidemount

Diving with a “Side-Monted” configuration is nothing new! However its recent practice, the “Modern Sidemount”, has opened up this technique to a wider variety of environments. Today, Sidemount is a light and minimalist configuration providing comfort, linked to simple and efficient procedures; it can be considered the most versatile and flexible way to dive at our disposal!

Ideal for travelling, comfortable for recreational diving, adapted for cave diving as well as ocean technical diving. A perfect redundancy, synonymous with safety, and an unparalleled ease of evolution! The sense of freedom found in freediving brought to SCUBA diving!

Sidemount diving deserves dedicated special training in order to achieve mastery of execution thereby reaping all its benefits, whether in sport diving with a single tank or in more complex levels of training in cave or multi-stage diving.

  Guiding

Are you a recreational or cave diver, “tek” or even CCR diver? The Riviera Maya has wonders to reveal to all!
I offer “a la carte” programs, varied and unique: go further, beyond the beaten path, to live the “real” Mexico.

Recreational Diving:

plongee mexique, tortue caraibes, riviera maya en plongee mer– Ocean diving:
I offer private diving with your own guide/instructor. Dive the most popular site in Playa del Carmen, as well as Cozumel, the Akumal coast, Xpu Ha or Puerto Morelos.
Let’s put together a program based on what you want to see and where you want to dive; with ease and simplicity.

– The Cenotes:
There are over 15 different sites to discover the cenotes while staying within cavern limits: truly unique recreational dives!
Fully enjoying this rare atmosphere is only possible, in my opinion, by moving away from the overly “touristy” sites.

Cave Diving:

plongee sout, plongee speleo cenote mexique, cave diving mexico, Santiago PintadoThe karst system of the Mayan Riviera is particularly complex and varied. I offer planned cave dives in order to fully enjoy the diversity of the many sites: dive the most beautiful sections, different cenotes each day, some explored by me, known by few others!

Whichever your configuration, open circuit or CCR, whatever your experience level, the cenotes will always surprise you!

With no time limits, all the necessary maps and topographies, a large amount of available material… and always in a good mood, all the elements come together for cave diving among enthusiasts!

“Tek” Diving:

In the ocean or certain cenotes, the abyss is open before us! In CCR or multi-gas open circuit, you have the possibility to discover great dives rich in sensations! Whether you want to see the sharks and large turtles of the “Cantil”, or visit the depths of the “Pit” or “Sabac Ha”, each expedition is unforgettable!
